múm are an Icelandic pop band with euphonic, yet tumultuous leanings, mixing sound with music and vice versa. The group has taken many forms and shapes since it started in 1997 and rarely cease to surprise and confuse.

Hljómsveitirnar múm og Seabear hafa verið uppteknar við tónleikahald í Evrópu, Norður-Ameríku og Asíu það sem af er þessu ári. Nú í desember halda sveitirnar sameiginlega tónleika í Reykjavík þar sem múm fagnar útgáfu breiðskífu sinnar Sing Along to Songs that You Don't Know.
Liðin eru ár og öld síðan að hljómsveitin múm hélt tónleika í Reykjavík. Ef frá eru talin þau örfáu skipti sem sveitin hefur komið fram á tónlistarhátíðum, og að hita upp á endurkomu Sykurmolanna, eru þetta fyrstu eiginlegu tónleikar hljómsveitarinnar á landinu í fimm ár - eða síðan sveitin hélt eftirminnilega tónleika þann 20.desember 2004 í Íslensku Óperunni.
Í ágúst gaf múm út hljómplötuna Sing Along to Songs You Don't Know sem fengið hefur sérstaklega góða dóma og viðtökur víðsvegar um heiminn. Síðan að platan kom út hefur hljómsveitin verið á hljómleikaferðalagi og spilað yfir 70 tónleika í Evrópu, Norður Ameríku og Asíu og kemur til að slá botninn í heimsreisunni með tónleikum í Iðnó þann 18. desember.
Af Seabear er það að frétta að ný plata mun koma út snemma á næsta ári, en henni hefur verið beðið með mikilli eftirvæntingu eða allt frá því að frumburður sveitarinnar, The Ghost That Carried Us Away, kom út árið 2007. Ný smáskífa, Lion Face Boy / Cold Summer, var að koma út hjá Morr Music.
Miðaverð verður sérstaklega stillt í hóf á tónleika, en aðgangseyrir verður eingöngu 2700 krónur.
Tónleikarnir fara eins og áður segir fram í Iðnó, föstudagskvöldið 18. desember og opnar húsið kl. 21.
Fólk er hvatt til að tryggja sér miða fljótt enda ekki margir miðar í boði.

múm Homecoming show. After heavy touring all over North America, Europe and Asia múm returns to Reykjavik for a show in the small but charismatic Iðnó venue, December 18.
Apart from their warm-up slot for Sugarcubes return in 2006, and shorter festival sets, this is múm's first concert in Iceland since 2004. This is their local release show for the Sing Along to Songs You Don't Know album, which has gathered great reviews in the press.
Also performing on the night is Seabear, which is releasing the Lion Face Boy / Cold Summer single on Morr Music this December. The band has a new album scheduled for March next year which will follow their celebrated; The Ghost That Carried Us Away (from 2007).
Tickets have now been released modesly priced at 2.700.
